Alternately, you can also use RobiCash apps for Bangladesh Railway ticket booking via mobile phone. In this case, you should have a RobiCash account for booking through apps. If you have a Robi or Airtel number, then you can open a RobiCash in a few seconds.
By dialing just *787*1# from Robi and *400*1*1# from Airtel, the users can create a RobiCash account easily. Then, you would download the RobiCash apps from the Google play store and log in your account. After login successfully in RobiCash, you will get the train ticket booking option there.
Within 30 minutes of receiving the SMS, the traveler will be paid the ticket price going to nearest RobiCash Points. There are about 30,000 RobiCash Points across the country. Besides, a passenger can also get the support of the entire process from the agent points.
At the end, the train travelers will receive an SMS with e-ticket number after paying the train fare in the RobiCash Point. It has been advised to collect the printed ticket at least one hour before the train departure time by showing this e-ticket number. They can collect this paper-based ticket at 52 Railway Stations across the country.
According to the regulations of the Bangladesh Railway Authority, the ticket is not transferable and you can’t purchase more than four times a month. Mobile-based ticketing service is available only for intercity trains on specific routes.
A service charge of Tk. 20 will be applicable every seat for Bangladesh Railway Ticket Booking via Mobile. This service is available for passengers between 8 am to 10 pm for seven days a week. Furthermore, they will get the opportunity to purchase the tickets up to 10 days in advance the journey date.
